 WHENEVER I CRAVE FOR STEAK, OLD SWISS INN COMES TO MIND. IT WAS ABOUT 5 YEARS AGO WHEN I FIRST TASTED THEIR ANGUS RICE AND IT CHANGED MY WORLD! ANGUS BEEF + BEEF FAT+ RICE = HEAVEN! ANYWAY I GOT CARRIED AWAY. THE 1KG WHICH COSTS AROUND 3,750 CAN BE SHARED BY 4-5 PEOPLE THIS COMES WITH UNLIMITED ANGUS RICE. THE CHEESE FONDUE FLAVOR IS SO-SO FOR ME. I CANT BEAR THE SMELL OF THE CHEESES COOKING INFRONT OF ME. IN MY EXPERIENCE KIDS/GIRLS LOVE IT! THIS RESTAURANT IS NOT ONLY KNOWN FOR STEAK, I AM THINKING OF ORDERING THEIR PORK KNUCKLES AND FRESH CORNED BEEF ON MY NEXT VISIT! THEY ARE OPEN TIL LATE AND HAVE A GOOD SELECTION OF WINE AND BEER. YOU CAN DROP BY EVEN AS LATE AS 2AM FOR YOUR LATE NIGHT MUNCHIES!

OPEN KITCHEN SETS THE PERFECT CHILL SETTING FOR A FRIDAY NIGHT OUT WITH FRIENDS. THE HIGHLIGHT OF THIS RESTAURANT IS THEIR ANISE PORK BELLY, SO TENDER AND COOKED TO PERFECTION. THE STEAK WAS ON POINT, FOR 950 I THINK IT IS VERY REASONABLE COMPARED TO THE OTHER STEAK JOINTS OUT THERE. THE CHEFS HERE DID A VERY GOOD JOB ON THE PRESENTATION OF THE FOOD. OUR MAHI MAHI IS ALSO DELISH! I'M NOT SURE IF THE 48 BOWLS OF HAPPINESS WILL MAKE YOU HAPPY, IT IS NOT A "MUST TRY" DISH FOR ME. I LOVE CHEESECAKES, THEIR VERSION IS DEFINITELY WORTH TRYING! I HEARD THEY CHANGE THEIR MENU EVERY 3 MONTHS! IF YOU WANT SOMETHING DIFFERENT THIS IS AN IDEAL PLACE TO GRAB A BITE.

DAMPA, IS A WET MARKET WHICH LETS YOU CHOOSE WHAT YOU WANT TO EAT AND THE RESTAURANTS AROUND COOK IT THE WAY YOU WANT IT. BEFORE I GET TO THE "NINJA" SECRET TO SHOPPING YOUR WAY WITHOUT GETTING RIPPED OFF. FIRST I WOULD LIKE TO DISCUSS THE FOOD IN OUR LAST VISIT AT HONG KONG MASTER COOK. THE STAFF HERE ARE FRIENDLY AND WILL HELP YOU DECIDE IN HOW TO COOK YOUR SEAFOOD TO YOUR LIKING. THIS IS THE DAMPA IN MACAPAGAL AREA. THE FISH THAT WE BOUGHT IS CALLED HAIPAN WHICH IS LIKE A BIGGER VERSION OF LAPU-LAPU. DEEP FRIED WITH SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE. IT WAS VERY VERY DELICIOUS! YUMMMMERS! THE PRAWNS WAS EXCELLENT! WHAT DO YOU EXPECT WHEN SOMETHING IS COOKED WITH BUTTER SAUCE. RIGHT! FOR TEMPURA LOVING PEEPS OUT THERE, FOR JUST AROUND 500 PHP YOU CAN GO INTO A SHRIMP TEMPURA COMA! THEIR SALTED EGG CRAB ALSO IS SO GOOD THAT YOU MIGHT WANT TO ORDER AN EXTRA CUP OF RICE. THE FOOD WAS SUPERB AND REASONABLE. COME IN A LARGE GROUP SO YOU CAN TASTE A LITTLE BIT OF EVERYTHING. BUDGET WISE PREPARE AT LEAST PHP800-PHP1000 PER PERSON. MY PERSONAL GO-TO RESTAURANTS HERE ARE THE ROYAL KITCHEN AND HONG KONG MASTER COOK. PLEASE DO NOT EAT ANYWHERE ELSE. STEAK LOVERS CAN GET THEIR STEAK CRAVINGS SATISFIED AT THIS PLACE. THE MOOD IS VERY INTIMATE. THE FOIE GRAS WAS COOKED PERFECTLY AND WAS ONE OF THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE PLACE. THEIR STEAK DOES NOT DISAPPOINT. THEIR LAMB RACK WAS SUPERB AND IS AN EXCELLENT ALTERNATIVE FOR NON-MEAT EATERS. WHEN I EAT STEAK I ALWAYS WANT GOOD SIDINGS TO GO WITH IT. CREAMED SPINACH AND POTATO GRATIN ARE MY GO-TO SIDES. FOR PHP150 PER SIDING ITS DEFINITELY WORTH IT. CRU DID A WONDERFUL JOB IN THIS DEPARTMENT. A GREAT SPOT FOR A DINNER DATE. SweetX manila hit the metro by storm. We were instantly wowed by their juicy burgers, and crispy chicken wings. The burger was cooked perfectly, for a guy with a big appetite like me, don't even bother settling for just the cheeseburger, go for the double. It will definitely hit the spot. I personally loved the soy honey wings (personal preference) as all of my other friends prefer the Sriracha. I will make sure to pair my next burger with their exotic milk shakes. Hurry up and head over to Makati and get your burger fix!
